Welcome to the Real Life Food Blog! I’m Amber, a real person who loves preparing and eating real food.  I’m a Microbiology PhD student so I don’t have time to spend ages shopping for niche ingredients or preparing complicated dishes.  I do, however, love eating delicious meals that are easy to prepare, and that I can make in large portions to keep for lunch the next day, or pop in the freezer to microwave up at a later date.

The purpose of this blog is to share my recipes and tips on ensuring the food you’re eating is setting you up to achieve your goals.  In this age of technology, our lives are busier  and ready prepared foods are cheaper and more easily available than ever before.  I don’t believe that this is a reason for anyone not to be eating freshly prepared food that they enjoy!
